Cookies are small text files that your browser uses to store information from websites. Think of log-in data, but also of the settings you use on a certain website. This kind of information is stored in cookies. Cookies can also be used by other parties for advertising purposes. This is why your computer collects cookies from almost every website out there. Sometimes it can happen that a cookie is not stored properly, which can cause errors if the website that needs the information does not get it but thinks it can get it. In that case, you can delete your cookies so that each website has to create its cookies anew.
