Installing the print broker

Installing the FreshPortal client is easy and can be done straight from your system. Depending on your computer, you might have to install Java first (see the extra step below).

Open your FreshPortal systeem

Upon logging in, if the FreshPortal client has not been installed or is not running, you will see an orange notification popup in the lower right corner. Click this notification to proceed to the download page.

Click the yellow banner on the download page

By clicking the banner on the download page, the download of the client will start. Further instructions can be found on the page itself as well.

Click on/open the downloaded file

The installer can be opened from your downloads folder. It can also be opened from the downloads list in your browser (if you cannot see this, it can be opened with Ctrl+J).

Return to your system

Once the banner on the download page turns from yellow to green, the client is running on your computer. From here you can return to any part of your system you normally use (like your stock screen).

Set your printers

At the top of the page is a little printer icon. Clicking this will open a popup that will allow you to set the default printers for various tasks. When setting a printer, only printers installed in Windows can be selected. If you see some printers, but not all, please check your printers' installation.
